The Edit Suite was established in 2014 on the Gold Coast by Josh Hamilton and Kara Marsden. Today, the studio creates video production and photography content for agencies, brands, tourism operators, and businesses across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Australia, and international markets.

What began as a small production setup has grown into a flexible production studio delivering commercials, brand films, TVCs, corporate videos, tourism campaigns, event content, and photography for clients ranging from local businesses through to national and international brands.

Josh leads creative direction and filming across the studio. His background began in New Zealand, where he worked on large-scale film productions including projects within the Narnia franchise, alongside early work in skateboarding and snowboarding films. This foundation shaped his approach to production, combining technical discipline with a natural, action-driven shooting style. His work now spans commercial campaigns, documentaries, tourism, lifestyle, and corporate production, focused on clear, engaging content built through composition, lighting, movement, and performance.

Kara leads production and project management, overseeing scheduling, logistics, client communication, and delivery. Her role ensures every production runs efficiently from pre-production through to post-production, maintaining consistency across projects of all scales.

Together, they form the foundation of The Edit Suite’s approach: combining creative thinking with streamlined production. Working as a flexible production studio, The Edit Suite assembles the right team for each project and collaborates with trusted specialists across camera, lighting, sound, editing, colour grading, motion graphics, drone operation, and post-production.

Based on the Gold Coast and regularly producing work throughout Brisbane and Australia, The Edit Suite delivers projects of all sizes while maintaining a hands-on, collaborative approach from concept through to final delivery.
